1/ About Additives
Wickham Brewing guarantees that the entire "HoneyMoon" beer contains no additives. Its ingredients are simple, consisting only of lychee honey, water, and yeast. There are absolutely no added sugar, flavorings, or preservatives. The ingredients are all-natural, so please feel free to drink it.

Pure and natural
The honey comes from the Wufeng Mountain area in Taichung. 40 years of hard work have resulted in the most natural honey source and the purest sweetness.
An innovative combination of local farmers and locally brewed products.
We will definitely not let you down!
Using the highest quality honey sources
Using only the same honey farmers ensures a stable and high-quality honey source. "HoneyMoon" uses honey that has won numerous top and first-class awards as its main raw material, which is sweet with a slightly astringent lychee peel aroma and a slightly sour finish.
The unique layers of flavor from pure, natural lychee honey are unlike any other sweetness found elsewhere.

2/ About Flavor
Wickham's "Honeymoon" mead uses the purest ingredients, consisting only of pure honey, yeast, and water.
The wine is golden and clear, with a unique refreshing sweetness and lychee aroma. Upon tasting, the first thing you notice is the aroma of honey, with a hint of floral notes and the sweet and sour taste of lychee. After swallowing, a slightly bitter taste similar to propolis will be produced at the back of the tongue.
Because no spices or sugar are used, the absolutely natural ingredients result in slight variations in flavor between batches depending on the season, temperature, and flowering season of the honey harvest. These variations do not indicate good or bad quality, but rather a different flavor profile, which may be slightly sour or sweeter.

3/ About mead
Mead is one of the oldest brewed wines in human history. Throughout both Eastern and Western history, it has been a wine served by nobles and for celebrations.
In Norse mythology, mead is hailed as "the nectar of the gods"; in the history of the ancient Vikings, mead was considered a symbol of "life" and "health," hence the origin of the term "honeymoon."
Honey is arguably one of the most expensive ingredients for brewing wine, and the aroma and sweetness can be completely lost if not handled carefully during the brewing process, making mead a relatively rare type of wine on the market.

4/Save and Suggestions
Because natural fermentation will produce bubbles, please be careful to avoid the bubbles overflowing after opening.
HoneyMoon is made from natural raw materials through fermentation, which contains yeast. Some sediment is normal, but since the yeast slightly affects the flavor, it is recommended that you do not shake it and enjoy the original flavor of the clear wine.
Due to sediment, please avoid storing it upside down to prevent affecting the taste.
It is recommended to store in a cool place and avoid direct sunlight. Refrigerate before drinking for the best flavor!

Mead Drinking Guide
This mead uses only three ingredients: pure lychee honey, water, and yeast, all sourced from Taiwan.
How exactly should we quote it to make it more sophisticated and flavorful?
WeekendMania has compiled some information to help you plan your honeymoon.
Drink after refrigeration.
Wickham Brewing recommends drinking it chilled. Please refrigerate (do not freeze) at least 4 hours before drinking.
When the wine is served at 4°C, you can enjoy the rich honey and lychee aromas from the natural lychee honey.
It has a low alcohol content upon tasting, and in addition to its natural honey sweetness, it also has a slight tartness from the lychee shell.
Drink at room temperature
At room temperature, the aroma of the wine will be more intense.
In addition to the honey aroma, it also has a slight propolis scent. The sweetness is more pronounced when drinking, but the alcohol content is also enhanced.
Because of the use of yeast, when consumed at room temperature, it produces an alcoholic sensation and bitterness similar to millet wine on the back of the tongue.
Therefore, we still recommend that if you cannot refrigerate it, you can enjoy it with ice.

Food pairing suggestions
It is recommended to drink it as an after-dinner drink or dessert wine.
If you have a preference for side dishes, you can pair them with seasoned or fatty meats, such as roast chicken, or fatty red meat.
If you're just having a casual drink, nuts, cheese, or even potato chips are all great choices.
Wickham Honeymoon is a pure brewed wine. There may be some sediment at the bottom of the bottle during bottling. Please remember not to store it upside down.
When consumed in a turbid state, it will have an additional pungent and sour taste similar to rice koji and cloves.
